Purpose, mission & vision

Why the institution exists and where it is heading.

Purpose

To document the cultural heritage, languages and historical records of Turk communities in a sourced and verifiable way, and to make that heritage visible in academic, cultural and international settings.

Mission

To advocate for the cultural and human rights of communities of Turk descent — in independent states, in stateless nations, in indigenous and minority communities, and among displaced and diaspora populations — in line with international legal standards, and to build a documentation infrastructure grounded in archives and verified by academic method.

Vision

To be a trusted institutional meeting ground that makes the cultural heritage of Turk communities across the world visible, and supports research, international dialogue and rights-based work.
